About Me
Experienced AV, Security & Power Consultant in Gloucestershire
With over 30 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, electronic security, professional audio visual installations, and temporary event power, I bring both technical expertise and practical insight to every project across Gloucestershire.
I began my career as a qualified electrician working on industrial electrical and control systems. After four years, I transitioned into the electronic security industry as a service engineer. I worked on large scale systems for MOD sites, NHS hospitals, schools, and shopping centres, many of them based in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
I spent more than 15 years on the tools before moving into system design and sales, focusing on complex security solutions for commercial, healthcare, and education clients throughout the South West, including Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, and Cirencester.
Later, I moved into business management, where I played a key role in growing a company from near insolvency to a £1 million turnover in just four years.
After stepping back from day-to-day operations due to health issues, I chose to focus on my long-standing passion: audio visual systems for houses of worship. I’ve been involved in church AV for over 30 years, and in recent years have dedicated myself fully to this work — specialising in system design, tuning, and professional installation across Gloucestershire.
